21″ Front Performance Wheel Upgrade for Sur-Ron Ultra Bee

Transform your off-road handling and conquer steep trail obstacles with the 21″ Front Performance Wheel Upgrade for the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee. Because most stock Ultra Bee models come equipped with an 18″ rear and 19″ front wheel combination, finding high-performance off-road tires can be extremely tricky. By upgrading to a full-sized 21″ front wheel, you can effortlessly convert your motorcycle into a traditional 18/21″ dirt bike setup—widely recognized as the gold standard for full-sized off-road performance.

In addition to unlocking the vast world of full-sized motocross rubber, adding a 21″ front wheel raises the front end slightly, thereby correcting chassis geometry, improving high-speed tracking, and creating a far more comfortable, ergonomic riding position. Ultimately, if you want to turn your Ultra Bee into a true off-road weapon without breaking the bank, then this 21-inch front wheel is one of the single best performance modifications you can make.

Electric Cycle Works Pro Tuning Tips

• Ideal Rear Tire Pairing: If you plan to keep your stock 19″ rear rim, pair this 21″ front wheel with a 100/90-19 rear tire. Because this size delivers optimal tread pattern without excess weight, it preserves your bike’s battery range and power delivery.

• Don’t Forget a Rear Tube: When upgrading to a 100/90-19 rear tire, make sure to purchase a matching larger rear inner tube—your factory OEM tube will be too small to stretch safely.

• Traction Control Reminder: If maintaining full Traction Control functionality is essential for your riding style, make sure to choose the Warp9 wheel option.

Frequently Asked Questions

What tire should I run on the rear when upgrading to a 21″ front wheel?

If you are retaining your factory 19″ rear rim, we highly recommend running a 100/90-19 rear tire. This dimension provides maximum traction while keeping rotational weight low—protecting your acceleration and battery range. Avoid going to heavier 110-series tires, as the extra mass significantly reduces power.

Will Traction Control still work after installing a 21″ front wheel?

Traction Control only works if you select the Warp9 21″ wheel. Warp9 includes custom-calibrated traction control tone rings designed to account for the larger wheel circumference. Other wheel brands will cause the OEM traction control system to throw error codes or intervene incorrectly.

Can I reuse my stock inner tube on a larger rear tire?

No. Stock inner tubes are sized for narrower OEM tires. Stretching a stock tube inside a larger 100/90-19 tire weakens the rubber walls, greatly increasing your risk of pinch flats and sudden air loss on the trail.
