• Why Shinko 525? Many 16″ off-road tires (especially wide Dunlops) feature aggressive side knobs that hit the drive chain unless the wheel is custom-dished. By using the Shinko 525, you get maximum drive traction without chain contact or dishing.

• Tire Pressure Setup: For technical trail riding, run 12 to 14 PSI in both tires to maximize your footprint and compliance over obstacles.

Because our technicians hand-mount and inspect each tire and tube package, please allow 1 to 2 weeks for mounted tire packages to be assembled and shipped to your door.

Can I run a wider Dunlop 16″ rear tire on this setup?

Wider 16″ rear tires can contact the drive chain on Surron and E Ride Pro frames. If you require a wider rear tire option beyond the Shinko 525, please contact our support team for a custom dished wheel build.
